Union partnership:  SSC is excited to announce we have entered a strategic partnership with the Philadelphia Union and will officially become a Club Affiliate.  This partnership provides our club with several key benefits including, player development (e.g., specialized position training, talent ID pipeline, etc), coaching education (e.g., workshops, direct access to Union technical staff, practice planning sessions, etc), and exclusive access (e.g., weekly training available for interested teams, club permitted to use Union brand, Union run summer camp at Springfield, guest speakers, discounted Union tickets, etc).  These are just a few of the benefits we expect with this partnership. Click here to view the Union Press Release! Spring intramurals:  SSC will once again be holding our Spring Intramural Program for kids 5-8 and this year we’re excited to be partnering with the Philadelphia Union, offering our future players an opportunity to work with SSC coaches and Union trainers.  Registration will open in early February. 

Summer Camp: SSC will be hosting a Union Summer Camp at Laurel Beech Park from 8/28-8/31 for kids ages 6-14.  We will provide a registration link in the next few weeks.    

Bringing U8’s back:  Based on demand, we will once again be offering a program for girls & boys who have a birth year of 2016.  This will make us more competitive with nearby clubs who offer younger programs and give us a chance to keep Springfield kids playing here at SSC. 

Fall registration:  We will be opening registration for the upcoming Fall Season in early/mid -February and anticipate holding tryouts in April, with teams being formed in May.  Good news – there will be no increase to registration costs this year!
