SSC Teams Win Two Titles in Jack Walsh Tournament!
The SSC Tornadoes (U11 Boys) and SSC Sting (U15 Boys) were both crowned champions in their respective tournaments at the Jack Walsh Columbus Day tournament .......
The SSC Tornadoes (U11 Boys) and SSC Sting (U15 Boys) were both crowned champions in their respective tournaments at the Jack Walsh Columbus Day tournament. The Tornadoes won two of three games in the main tournament draw before overcoming the WSC Revolution 1-0 in the final. Meanwhile, the Sting edged the UDSC Hawks 2-1 in their final after working through their bracket undefeated with one win and two ties. This was actually the 3rd consecutive championship for the Sting in the Jack Walsh tournament -- an amazing run!! SSC was also well represented by three other teams including the Cosmos (U9 Boys), the Storm (U11 Girls) and the Stealers (U13 Girls). The tournament is held every Columbus Day weekend and is sponsored by the Hunter Soccer Club of Glenside.
